Protection of personal information

The Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) regulates the processing of personal information in South Africa. This statement explains where to find information about Somagidi’s website processing and how to raise a privacy request.

Our Privacy notice explains what information the website asks for, why it is used, how email and WhatsApp enquiries work, optional measurement, service providers and your choices. Supplying information through the site does not give blanket permission for unrelated uses.

Access, correction, objections and deletion

You may ask whether the business holds personal information about you and request access, correction or deletion, or object to processing where the law permits. Identify the relevant record or interaction and the action you are requesting. Do not include sensitive identity documents in your first message; we can discuss an appropriate verification method if needed. Requests remain subject to applicable legal duties and limits.

Optional measurement

You can decline optional website measurement or change your browser’s choice on the Privacy page. Choosing not to allow it does not prevent enquiries.

Escalating a concern

You may contact the Information Regulator and use its official POPIA request and complaint forms. This statement is not a PAIA manual or a certificate of compliance. Contact Somagidi for information about access to business records.
